Fabricating Cabin Doors

This is a damaged cabin door (bottom half of picture) that needs to be replaced. It’s most often true that the manufacturer either no longer produces them, or the time it takes to receive a factory replacement is far too great. For many years fabricating cabin doors has been one of our specialties. By the time we’ve finished this job, you won’t be able to tell the difference, inside and out, between the factory built and the Almaden RV built cabin door.

Campsite Tree Branch Damage Soon to Vanish.

A tree branch cut into the side of this beautiful Fleetwood Bounder while it was being parked in a campsite. Fortunately the right rear corner was not damaged too much, which saved lots in repair costs. After the fiberglass is repaired coats of primer will be applied. Then the color matching process will begin. We take great pride in our color matching. It is not something that is easily mastered, but it is critical for a flawless finish.

Diesel Pusher Gets a New Front Seal.

This week we’re working on a very nice Diesel Pusher. It’s got almost 100k miles and still has lots of life and many good long trips ahead, but the front seal has gone bad. Over time, the oil leak gunked-up the radiators causing the engine to overhead, belts to slip and created a dirty mess throughout the engine compartment. If all goes as expected, we should have this job completed by end of week.
